The American Family Association's director of governmental affairs, Sandy Rios, was a guest on the AFA's "Today's Issues" radio program this morning where she warned that if the Supreme Court strikes down state bans on gay marriage, Christians who preach against homosexuality will be treated as provocateurs, not unlike anti-Islam activist Pamela Geller, who organized the event in Texas last week at which two Islamic terrorists were killed.
"Pam's event has been called provocative, what she was doing in soliciting cartoons being drawn was called provocative and I supposed, you know, you could say it is," Rios said. "I would say that if the Supreme Court legalizes gay marriage, so much of what we say and write at AFR will be provocative in the same way. We will be saying things to incite, to anger, to provoke — at least from their viewpoint — because, no, it's the law, it's legal, it's okay. You can't say something against what's been made legal and this is where we're going to get into some really rough terrain, I think":
