Sandy Rios serves as the American Family Association’s director of governmental affairs and hosts "Sandy Rios In The Morning," a program on the AFA's American Family Radio. A former Chicago radio host, Rios went on to serve as president of Concerned Women for America before landing at the AFA. She has also served as a Fox News contributor.
On her radio show, Rios has made a series of incendiary remarks about LGBT rights, President Obama, immigrants, Muslims and Jews. For example, Rios has linked homosexuality to terrorism and the crash of an Amtrak train, promoted ex-gay therapy, and accused gay people of being child predators, provoking God's judgment and advancing fascism.
