“Today we saw the confirmation of a dangerous choice for FBI Director. Kash Patel’s loyalty lies with Donald Trump, not the American people he’s supposed to defend in this role. We’re now staring down an era in which the FBI will be beholden to the whims of a President who scoffs at any limits to his own power Shame on Republicans who have further enabled Trump’s aggressive abuse of power with their vote to confirm Patel.”
