On Friday, we posted a video of the American Family Association’s Buster Wilson likening marriage equality for gays and lesbians to people marrying multiple partners, dogs, buildings and cars, followed by an excerpt from a court ruling in Canada explaining how legalizing same-sex marriage does not legalize polygamy.
It appears that Wilson didn’t like our post very much, but his response has us wondering if he even read our post in the first place. Wilson writes:
Right Wing Watch seems to think I’m a “—-Bag” (sorry, their actual words) for making such an insane argument against homosexual marriage rights. Why did I mention those kinds of marriage issues? BECAUSE I’D HEARD THE STORIES WITH MY OWN EARS!
…
I’m AFRAID ONCE AGAIN IT’S THE RIGHT WING WATCH THAT HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY’RE TALKING ABOUT!
Huh? The only thing we ever called Wilson was “General Manager of the American Family Association’s American Family Radio.”
If this is how Wilson conducts his research, we finally understand why he’s so confused about the argument for same-sex marriage.
We look forward to hearing from Wilson about other imaginary offenses committed by RWW and how allowing committed same-sex couples to marry will lead to people marrying dogs, cars, and so forth.
