Hopeful that “young people are seeing the ‘Obamanation’ and they don’t like it,” former House GOP leader Tom DeLay is calling on conservatives to “take our schools back” from left-wing brainwashers.
“Our children are being brainwashed by the left in our universities and in our public schools, and I hope the next president of the United States will realize that we have to pay attention to what is going on in our schools and what is happening to our children,” he said in his weekly commentary for the Washington Times last week.
DeLay also said he agreed with a recent Pat Buchanan column calling on Republicans to “drop the talk of impeachment.”
He noted that discussions over impeaching and removing President Obama from office should only happen after the 2014 elections: “The American people need to speak, and when they speak then you can make those decisions early next year as to what to do about it. I agree with pat, this is not the time to be talking about impeachment. Even though I’d love to impeach him, I’d love to remove him from office.”
