Pat Robertson’s “The 700 Club” aired brief report today about a woman who survived sexual abuse as a child and later became addicted to drugs and “turned to lesbian relationships for comfort.”
Eventually, the report’s voiceover revealed, “Jesus set her free from homosexuality” and drug addiction.
Robertson responded to the story by rejoicing that God can deliver anybody from “drug addiction, alcoholism, lesbianism, prostitution, everything you can think of.”
