Televangelist Pat Robertson, who is pretty sure that President Obama is a secret Muslim and “may have made a deal with the Muslim Brotherhood,” today accused the president of working with terrorists.
“It makes you sick at your stomach that the president whose name is, what is it, uh, Barack Hussein Obama, who studied in Indonesia and had a Muslim stepfather for a while, has embraced this terrorist organization,” he said, while wondering if Hillary Clinton also “embraced this stuff.”
After inaccurately asserting that the Muslim Brotherhood started the Palestine Liberation Organization and Hezbollah, Robertson said that “ISIS is following the Muslim Brotherhood playbook and for the president of the United States to say there is no credible evidence that they have renounced their peaceful intentions, that is pure baloney and it just makes you sick at your stomach.”
The U.S. government does not consider the Muslim Brotherhood to be a terrorist group and past presidents, including President Bush, have engaged with the group.
