After his “dream ticket” of Jeb Bush and John Kasich didn’t pan out, televangelist Pat Robertson now hopes that Donald Trump and Kasich will join forces and lead the GOP to victory.
Robertson, who recently told Trump that he is an inspiration, said that Trump “is sweeping the country” and advised him to tap Kasich as his vice presidential running mate because the Ohio governor “really knows how to make government work.”
“The team would be Trump and Kasich,” he said, while knocking Ted Cruz for having a limited appeal and Marco Rubio for saying “funny things in these debates” and having “a meltdown” while squaring off with Chris Christie.
