Back in 2009, when voters in Maine were facing a referendum on legalizing gay marriage in the state, the Maine Family Policy Council was unceremoniously dumped from the fight by national Religious Right groups because of the organization's tendency to warn that gay marriage would lead to things like graffiti, vandalism, and crop failure.
The head of the MFPC at the time, Mike Heath, eventually resigned, only to resurface shortly thereafter in the same capacity with the state chapter of the American Family Association, before announcing a short-lived bid for governor. Not long thereafter, Heath turned up in Iowa, working as state director of Ron Paul's presidential campaign, before returning to Maine to run something called Helping Hands Ministires.
In his current capacity, Heath continues to pen truly insane anti-gay diatribes, which are eagerly reposted on Matt Barber's BarbWire website, of course, such as his recent warning that satanic gay rights activists want to see "the export of sodomy to other worlds -- to the entire universe!":
[W]e find that the virus is spreading rapidly. It won't be enough to pervert the whole world with this evil anti-family worldview. Since the developed governments of the world aspire to colonizing planets we have to prepare for the export of sodomy to other worlds -- to the entire universe!
I think it's time for us Christians to flip open our communicators. Beam me up Scotty.
It's like satan, a rabid dog, sunk his fangs deep into the donkey flesh of our nation's government. And now the deranged ass is infecting other nations.
What can be done?
...
Humans die from rabies unless they are given the vaccine before the symptoms appear. Paul the apostle points out in his letter to Roman Christians that you can tell when a nation has become a walking corpse when it has endorsed perverted sex.
Is it too late for America to take the vaccine?
Are the symptoms of judgment evident?
