King: Attacks On Me Are A Sign That Civilization Will Not Survive

Congressman Steve King continues his tour(link is external) of defiance(link is external), refusing to apologize or backtrack in any way for the comments he made earlier this week when he claimed(link is external) that the vast majority of undocumented immigrants are "130-pound" drug runners with "calves the size of cantaloupes."

As part of this ongoing effort, King showed up on Bryan Fischer's radio program today(link is external) where he vowed that he will never apologize "for telling the American people the truth."

King defended himself(link is external) by saying he had made this same point several times in the past, but is only being attacked for it now by people who "have an amnesty agenda that they want to drive through the House of Representatives," adding that any civilization in which government leaders would attack and marginalize someone like him for speaking the truth "will not be able to sustain itself in the long run":
