Kellyanne Conway Says That Trump's Most Notable Characteristic Is His 'Humility'

Counselor to the president Kellyanne Conway was interviewed by Pat Robertson on "The 700 Club" today, where she declared that President Trump's most notable characteristic is his humility.

Robertson kicked off the softball interview by asking Conway "what characteristic stands out in your mind" most about Trump, to which she replied that "it's one that most of the media never associate with him, and I would say it's humility."

"With the gravity and responsibility of being president of the United States and commander in chief of our armed forces," she said, "I would say that with that gravity and responsibility has come a great deal of humility."

Conway said that Trump realizes that "people are relying upon him to keep our country safe and prosperous and there is a great deal of humility that attaches to that."

Conway also blasted "the naysayers and the critics who seem to be working overtime these days" to attack Trump for not acknowledging that "President Trump and his family has sacrificed mightily" because of his decision to run for the White House.

Trump didn't run for president for money or power or fame, she said, but ran simply because "he saw a greater calling and he accepted that calling and there is no way to [be in the White House] every single day and make decisions that are so weighty and consequential for so many millions of people without feeling a great deal of humility."
