Jack Burkman: 'The Homosexual Movement In This Country' Is Fundamentally 'Predatory'

Washington, D.C., lobbyist Jack Burkman is so cartoonishly anti-gay that he once vowed to lead a "relentless" boycott against any NFL team that drafted gay player Michael Sam which, after Sam was drafted by the St. Louis Rams, never actually materialized.

For some reason, the producers over at Newsmax thought it would be a good idea to get Burkman's thoughts on the proposal by the Boy Scouts to drop its ban on gay scout leaders, so he was invited on to debate the topic on yesterday's "Newsmax Now" program.

Unsurprisingly, Burkman kicked things off by citing the Family Research Council as he claimed that gay men are a thousand times more likely to molest children and asserting that the "homosexual movement" is fundamentally "predatory."

"Homosexuals molest children at a rate from somewhere between 200 to a 1000 percent more than straight people," he said. "To even think, with these facts on the table to allow them into something like the Boy Scouts as scout leaders is absurd."

"The real problem I have with the homosexual movement in this country, and really around the world, is that fundamentally it is predatory," he continued. "When the movement sees a young man that is weak and troubled, they will try to turn him. And what they do is they go after the weak and they say we're going to break apart from your family, your friends, your community, we're going to tear you away, we're going to make you believe the way the Chinese would convince somebody in a prison that you're gay. You're going to believe this. CNN and ABC News are going to aid us, this whole sick culture is is going to aid us and we're going to turn you into a gay person."
