Glenn Beck Continues To Insist The U.S. Government Covered Up Saudi Arabia's Role In The Boston Marathon Bombing

On his television show last night, Glenn Beck again vowed to expose what he insists is a government cover-up of Saudi Arabia's role in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing.

In the wake of the bombing, Beck infamously declared that he was giving the Obama administration three days to come clean about Saudi Arabia's role in the attack. When that didn't happen, Beck launched a weeks-long crusade aimed at proving that Abdulrahman Alharbi, a Saudi Arabian student who was injured in the bombing, was not simply a victim but was really an al Qaeda "money man" and a “control agent” who had financed the attack and recruited the Tsarnaev brothers to carry it out.

In 2014, Alharbi sued Beck for slander and defamation and last year Beck grudgingly settled the lawsuit, though he continues to insist that the U.S. government engaged in a massive cover-up which he intends to expose.

Last night, Beck revealed that he is working on an upcoming television episode that will show how he was forced to settle the lawsuit only because the court "wouldn't accept some things from me because the FBI was redacting" information in an effort to hide the truth.

"Something is very wrong with Saudi Arabia," Beck said. "Very, very wrong. And when we finally put that to bed and show the American people how you're going to lose your First Amendment right to free speech, to question, and also what your government is doing and not allowing you to be able to defend yourself; [it's] astounding. And it all stems from Saudi Arabia. I'm convinced something is really bad with Saudi Arabia."
