On his radio program yesterday, Bryan Fischer was praising an effort by Texas legislators to preemptively defy any Supreme Court ruling legalizing gay marriage when he went off on a tangent to declare that support for gay rights in America is "evidence that Satan exists."
Citing a CDC survey that found that less than two percent of the adult population identifies as gay or lesbian, Fischer said that it is crazy that the tiny minority group has been able to bully the rest of the nation into accepting their "sexual deviancy."
"They are like bullies on the playground that are pushing everybody else around," Fischer said. "They have got their boot on our throats. I mean, it's just ridiculous that such a small percentage of the American population should be able to push the normalization of sexual deviancy on a nation of of 320 million people and to be able to demonize the people that are standing up for sexual normalcy and are standing up for God's standard of sexuality and marriage, to get them demonized as hate-filled, homophobic bigots."
"It's just kind of really an amazing thing if you stop and think about it," he continued. "And if you need evidence that Satan exists, I gotta tell you, that's it":
