After hosting a two-part series with ex-Rep. Michele Bachmann about the approaching Rapture and related natural disasters, Jan Markell spoke last week with "White House correspondent Bill Koenig about America’s collision course with God.”
When co-host Larry Kutzler asked if poor political leadership is a form of God’s judgment, Koenig responded that the election of President Obama was a sign of divine judgment because of his support for LGBT rights, adding that further judgment could come in a financial collapse at the end of 2015.
Koenig, who runs World Watch Daily, also suggested that the drought in California is a result of the state’s support for same-sex marriage and abortion rights: “We’ve got a state that over and over again will go against the word of God, that will continually take positions on marriage and abortion and on a lot of things that are just completely opposed to the scriptures and unfortunately a lot of times when it starts in California it spreads to the rest of the country and even spreads to the rest of the world. So there very likely could be a drought component to this judgment.”
Earlier in the program, Koening said that preacher Franklin Graham is “absolutely correct” to believe that the Obama administration is pushing an “Antichrist movement” on America.
Koenig was especially upset that pro-LGBT-rights Christians attended a recent White House Easter prayer breakfast, warning that “there will be consequences” for the inclusion of such Christians.
