E.W. Jackson: 'You've Got to Vote Like Your Life Depended on It'

On his "The Awakening" radio program yesterday, right-wing pastor E.W. Jackson warned that conservatives must start voting like their lives depend on it because "it's coming down to a point where it does."

Jackson, who was the Republican Party nominee for lieutenant governor of Virginia in 2013 and unsuccessfully ran for a seat in the U.S. Senate in 2018, warned that with Democrats winning control of the Virginia legislature this past November, it will only be a matter of time before they seek to implement gun control in the state and turn those who defend the Second Amendment into criminals.

Jackson said that he often speaks at gun shows and is shocked to discover how many attendees do not vote.

"I can't tell you how many times I would go to gun shows and talk to people, talk to Second Amendment supporters who would tell me, 'Oh, I don't vote,'" Jackson said. "If you care about the First Amendment, if you care about the Second Amendment, if you care about the Constitution of the United States, if you care about your liberty, it is time for us to get off that. You've got to vote with a vengeance now. You've got to vote like your life depended on it. You know what? It's coming down to a point where it does."

"We can shoot it out at the ballot box with votes, and that is what we better do," he added.
