The other day, Al Sharpton did a segment on his television program in which he donned a lab coat in order to deliver a science lesson to climate change deniers ... and Glenn Beck found the entire thing to be just sad and pathetic.
That's right, a man who, just two months ago, spent ten minutes on his own program playing with Wizard the Oz dolls while wearing ruby slippers, finds MSNBC's programming to be simply embarrassing because they are obviously trying to copy him but have no idea what they are doing.
As Beck's co-host Pat Gray declared, "all [MSNBC is] trying to do now is copy what you did at Fox. That's what Ed Schultz does; that's what Al Sharpton is trying to do now. I mean, it's pretty transparent. They're just really excruciatingly bad at it."
"It's really amazing how much this network is flailing," Beck added, before proudly declaring that his show on Fox essentially destroyed cable news.
"We brought that industry to an end because we went in, we mocked the way it was done while we were doing it. We broke all of the rules. We rocketed to the top. It was iconic and now everybody is left with this ... they don't know what to do because they can't make it work, they don't know what to do and so it's becoming these really lousy ... it's becoming embarrassing":
Yes, it's embarrassing, said the man who was down on his knees on the floor providing imaginary medical aid with an American flag blanket to a mortally wounded Lady Liberty in a desperate attempt to save America not too long ago.
