Alex Jones Lauds Trump, Urges ‘Globalists’ To Kill Themselves

Yesterday, far-right commentator Alex Jones posted a video to his Facebook page in which he apologized to President Trump for missing his calls while urging the president, a past guest on Jones’ show, to keep up his fight against evil “globalists,” who Jones said should kill themselves.

As first reported by Media Matters, Jones boasted in his video message that Trump and his sons watch his conspiracy theory show on his InfoWars network “every night,” which seems not entirely far-fetched since Trump has relied on Jones for many of his wild and bizarre claims. (Just today, Politico reported that the president’s aides used “alternative media like Breitbart, Washington Examiner, Fox News, Infowars and the Daily Caller to show Trump positive coverage.”)

“We’re not bragging, we brought the president where he is,” Jones said. “That doesn’t mean he didn’t have the will like a ship to be on the ocean but we were on the ocean that Trump was on. He knows that.”

Jones dedicated part of his message to also claiming that his freedom of speech is being taken away because an advertisement services platform reportedly stopped running ad campaigns on his InfoWars site. This led Jones to compare himself to a black person living under Jim Crow and a woman living before universal suffrage.

But Jones, as usual, reserved his greatest wrath for the “globalists” who he says are determined to destroy humanity: “All across the world, humanity knows you’re the enemy. We’re going to get you assholes, just know that. It doesn’t mean we’re perfect but we’re not out to screw women and children and hurt people. You understand that, assholes? You hate humanity because you project your own hatred of yourself on us, assholes. You want to kill us, how about you die? Kill your fucking selves you fucking globalists!”

Last May, Jones told conservative columnist George Will to “put a .357 Magnum to your head and blow what little is left of your brains out all over yourself” for daring to criticize Trump.
