Alex Jones, the conspiracy theorist who is currently driving Infowars into the ground, and Eric Bolling, a CRTV host who lost his previous job at Fox News when sexual harassment allegations surfaced, want you to know about their access to President Donald Trump.
Yesterday, Bolling appeared at the Infowars news desk in Austin, Texas, for an hour-long interview, which was cross-posted on CRTV. On air, Bolling and Jones discussed a handful of topics, including the legitimacy of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, whether Sandy Hook was indeed a “false flag,” as Jones has claimed, and what’s going on with the QAnon conspiracy theory. But in between topics of discussion, the duo took time to brag about their access to President Trump.
Bolling said that “about three months ago” he walked into the Oval Office after the White House infrastructure plan was leaked and told Trump that the plan needed rules that stipulate that 90 percent of raw materials used in the plan must come from the United States and should include provisions that allow local businesses to make the first bids for federal contracts under the plan.
“He says, ‘You know what, Bolling, we’ll get those two things in there.’ And guess what? Here we are three months later, and those two things are in there,” Bolling said.
“Literally, you told him something that makes sense. He’s like, ‘Yeah that makes great sense. Make sure the materials are from America.’ What is it like, then, to talk to him and see it manifest and save the country?” Jones asked.
“It’s amazing,” Bolling responded. “It’s amazing to have that access to the most powerful man in the world.”
Bolling then disputed reports questioning Trump’s mental capacity and his fitness for office, insisting “the man’s sharp as a tack.”
Jones interrupted Bolling and said, “I was about to say. Trump’s called me, like, at 10 o’clock at night and I’m, like, tired and he’s, like, smooth like he’s a voice actor that never made a mistake. And I’m like, ‘I just had a five-minute conversation and he didn’t mumble one time.”
