Christian nationalist Jason Rapert is appalled that a gay man is running local office in Arkansas and dared to post a loving message on social media to his husband and LGBTQ kids: "That's a homosexual candidate targeting your kids."
A former Arkansas state legislator, Rapert launched the National Association of Christian Lawmakers in 2019. As its name suggested, the NACL is a Christian nationalist organization that seeks to “take authority” over every level of government and spread its worldview “across the nation.”
