WASHINGTON, D.C.— In response to today's ruling by the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, that the House should have access to grand jury evidence redacted from the public version of the Mueller report on the Russia probe, PFAW Executive Vice President for Policy and Program Marge Baker released the following statement:
"Ever since Attorney General Barr went before the public in an attempt to spin the Mueller report and create a false impression that it exonerated Donald Trump, the Trump administration has been doing its best to conceal and bury evidence of the full extent of wrongdoing. It is vital for the House to have all the information related to the Russia probe in order to fulfill its constitutional oversight duties. We applaud the D.C. Circuit decision today, although this is but one battle in a monumental war this administration continues to wage against truth and accountability."
