With his 100th day in office fast approaching, People For the American Way and our government reform allies, led by Democracy 21, have given President Trump an "F" for his performance on such critical governance issues as integrity, transparency, and accountability. In order to create a government that is truly of, by, and for the people, we need an administration that is communicating openly and honestly with the people. The Trump administration is doing no such thing.

Our coalition is united in the belief that Trump's bad governance is record-setting:

In the first hundred days of his Administration, President Donald Trump has established the worst record in modern times for a new President on fundamental governing issues of integrity, transparency and accountability.

The examples are telling:

  • President Trump has ignored provisions of the Constitution and basic ethical norms established to prevent government corruption and influence buying.
  • President Trump has rejected the core democratic principle of the public’s right to know.
  • President Trump has challenged basic accountability protections embedded in the Constitution.

As a "we the people" organization, PFAW will continue to stand up for good governance and for a money out-voters in democracy.
