PFAW’s ENOUGH of Trump Billboards are Going Up in a Swing State Near You!

Enough is enough - dump Trump 2020

People For the American Way is launching a six-figure billboard campaign featuring the work of 15 world-renowned American artists conveying what people have had “enough” of in the Trump era. The billboards will go up in key electoral states of Florida, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

The goal is to get out the vote in battleground states where Trump won in 2016 by a slim margin. With these eye-catching billboards in prime locations, they’ll generate millions of impressions across these four states.

The participating artists involved in the billboards come from a diverse group of more than a dozen who are participating in the ENOUGH of Trump campaign, including African American, Latinx, Indigenous, AAPI and LGBTQ artists: Amalia Mesa-Bains, Shepard Fairey, LaToya Ruby Frazier, Jeffrey Gibson, Mark Thomas Gibson, Beverly McIver, Angelica Muro, Alyson Shotz, Christine Sun Kim, Cayetano Valenzuela, and renowned artist Carrie Mae Weems, who has played a leading role in formulating the campaign.

Billboard installations began going up this week along busy highways and in downtown centers in Orlando, FL; Detroit and Grand Rapids, MI; Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, PA; and Green Bay and Milwaukee, WI.

Even more exciting is that we’ve extended the goal of the six-figure campaign to triple the number of billboard installations in several more cities and states nationwide through November 3. With additional funding – raised in part through our hugely successful Kickstarter campaign – we are expanding the scope of the effort and adding more battleground states.

Keep an eye on PFAW’s channels for more information about the billboards as installation progresses, and for other initiatives that are part of the ENOUGH of Trump and get out the vote initiatives this fall!
