In addition to being an unabashed Trump cultist, evangelist Lance Wallnau is a self-proclaimed Christian nationalist who is among the most prominent purveyors of Seven Mountains Dominionism, a radical theology that advocates having right-wing Christians control all aspects of society.
Wallnau has made no secret of the fact that he want to see right-wing Christians take over nations all over the world, and he has been equally clear about his intent to take advantage of the reelection of Donald Trump to make that happen.
In the days after Trump's election victory, Wallnau appeared on a program hosted by evangelist Todd White, and was giddy with anticipation over the opportunities that Christian nationalists will now have to unite with the government to push their agenda globally.
Wallnau proclaimed that with Trump taking office, now "the government and the church" can begin "moving together to build the ekklesia" to take control of "the government mountain" globally. ("Ekklesia" is a term used by dominionists to refer to the church as God’s governing body on Earth.)
"God's opening a door in the White House for the Office of Faith and Religious Freedom, which means Christianity is going to have proximity to the Oval Office to have projects that are going to guarantee global freedom," Wallnau gushed. "So what's our call in the nations? We're going to be exerting an appropriate but not interfering wisdom in influencing governments to stop persecuting Jesus people."
Wallnau said that Trump will "create incentives" for other nations to allow Christian nationalists into their countries so they can begin "raising up the Kingdom influence in those nations."
"These presidents of these nations, they want to have favor with the United States," Wallnau proclaimed. "They want trade relationships and they want to work with this moment of favor that God's doing. God opens up an opportunity where we would like to be able to do in the soccer stadium a meeting—we'll pay for it—but we would like to come in and worship and build morality and build faith and teach people to honor the government instead of fight the government. We want to build stability. Christianity will bless your nation."
"Now, the stadium meetings happen; boom! Revival hits the countries," Wallnau rejoiced. "Have we not been saying this for years? But we did not understand that God would raise up governmental rulers who would make it [happen]. It wouldn't be us beating our chest, [organizing] independent revivals; it would be the government, always—presidents, prime ministers—opening the door and [authorizing it]."
"Oh, my gosh," replied White, "This is so good."
