Tony Suarez And Hank Kunneman Say Christians Must Completely Annihilate The Democrats

Tony Suarez and Hank Kunneman on FlashPoint

Right-wing pastors Tony Suarez and Hank Kunneman appeared on the Christian nationalist program "FlashPoint" on Tuesday(link is external), where they both agreed that it is imperative that the Democratic Party be completely destroyed, in a biblical fashion.

Guest host Rick Green began the segment by noting recent polls(link is external) showing that the approval rating for the Democratic Party is at historic lows, which promoted Suarez to cite the story(link is external) from the book of 1 Samuel in which God ordered King Saul to kill all the Amalekites, but Saul failed to do so and was punished by God.

"There's a story in the Bible where the Lord told King Saul to completely annihilate, to kill the enemy, and he let some live," Suarez said. "I'm not calling for violence, necessarily, but we, conservative Christians, we're at a moment in history where we can really win this thing. We need to win the war. We've talked about the battles that we've won, but the Democratic Party is falling apart. We have to see the win that is staring us in the face. It's not time to be lazy. It's not time to take a break. We need to see this all the way through, secure the midterm and then the next election.

"We're so close to a victory that, when we see it, we'll be able to say only God, through his people, could have done this," Suarez added.

Green then noted that while he knows he is supposed to pray for his enemies, he is also tempted to "relish in them falling apart" because he's "seen these people trying to destroy America."

Kunneman replied that while they should always pray that Democrats will see the error of their ways, Christians must also remember that, just like Psalm 3(link is external), it is okay to pray that God will "shatter the teeth of the wicked."

"There comes a point when people have purposely aligned themselves with a high level of wickedness—sex trafficking, trying to bring a certain injustice and lawlessness and touching children—well, you're now cooperating with principalities and powers and evil," Kunneman said. "The Bible teaches us that we need to stand against that injustice."

"God is the God that will remove kings and set up others," Kunneman declared. "So, you know, we can't get down and get nice."
