Trump's Spiritual Adviser: Opposition To Trump Is Opposition To God

Right-wing prepper pastor Jim Bakker interviewed televangelist Paula White, who is one of President Trump's key spiritual advisers, on his television program today, where she declared that opposition to the president is opposition to God and explicitly praised Trump for not sounding or acting presidential.

"Thank goodness," she said. "In other words, he's not a polished politician. In other words, he's authentically—whether people like him or not, he's been raised up by God because God says that He raises up and places all people in places of authority. It is God that raises up a king, it is God that sets one down and so when you fight against the plan of God, you're fighting against the hand of God."

Later in the broadcast, when White declared that Christians "were sent here to take over," Bakker excitedly agreed, asserting "that's why we have the president we have!"

"He doesn't fit, he's not a normal president," Bakker hollered as he rejoiced that White "can now walk into the White House any time she wants to! She has full access ... to the president."

"God is shaking America, people," Bakker said. "He gave us a president who says we're not going to murder babies. You can't be blessed and murder 50 million babies! You can't! You can't! You can't! You can't!"

Eventually, White showed Bakker the pen that Trump gave to her after he signed his executive order on "religious liberty" earlier this year, which White described as having "felt like the heavens had opened."

Clasping the pen in his hand, Bakker declared that "this is what I waited for most of my life! I have fought; the government has tried to destroy the church people for decades and decades and decades and he said, 'As long as I am president, no more ground!'"

"He signed with this pen!" Bakker excitedly told the studio audience, which was delivering a standing ovation. "Can you see the pen? He signed with this pen!"
