Yesterday on Washington Times Radio’s “Getting It Right,” Tom DeLay predicted big Republican gains in the upcoming midterm elections because Americans are tired of “same-sex marriage and abortion” and angry that “politicians pushed God out of the public sphere.”
“People are finally understanding that they have got to bring God back into the mix of politics and what’s going on in the civil government,” the increasingly televangelistic former House GOP leader said.
“I’m really seeing a spiritual revival, a constitutional revival, people may not know it or may not be able to articulate it, but they have a sense of what is right and what is truth and they’re grabbing a hold of that and they’re running with it and I’m very excited about it.”
