Tom DeLay stopped by Newsmax TV yesterday to speak with host Steve Malzberg about President Obama’s purported aversion to Israel and the rich.
The former House GOP Majority Leader told Malzberg that “liberal Jews, Democrat Jews in America” need to understand and “never forget that this president, in everything that he has done, he has tried to undermine Israel.”
Earlier this year, Michele Bachmann made similar remarks criticizing Jewish voters for their strong support for Obama.
Later in the Malzberg interview, DeLay railed against Obama as a “socialist” and a “Marxist” who “hates” wealthy Americans: “The guy’s a socialist at the very least and I claim that he’s a Marxist. He was raised a Marxist, his grandparents were Marxists, his mother was Marxist, his fathers were Marxists, they sent him to Chicago to be trained and educated in socialism, we all know that this president is a Marxist.”
