Looking for a last-minute Valentine’s Day gift? Religious Right “thinker” Lance Wallnau, a booster of President Donald Trump, has got a deal for you!
What greater way to say “I love you” than with the gift of the secret to “render powerless the global mind control attempt to manipulate your thoughts and emotions”? But wait—there’s more! Order today, and you’ll get 40 percent off the regular price of Wallnau’s three-CD set, “Breaking Controlling Spirits.” (Regular price: $29.97 – Special Valentine’s Day price: $17.97.)
Doesn’t this just scream romance?
There is a war being fought in the unseen realm between forces of good and evil, and the battlefield is your mind.
Demonic activity is increasing at an alarming rate as we draw closer to the last days. You will not be able to ignore it and hope to avoid the consequences. Spiritual warfare is not optional. What must you do to prepare and guarantee victory over the enemy?
Among the many things Wallnau promises to teach your beloved is how to “use supernatural battle strategies to conquer the enemy.”
Wallnau is a dominionist preacher who has made great hay out of his 2016 prediction that Donald Trump would win the presidency (for the record, I predicted the same), and has been one of the president’s loudest apologists on the Religious Right, popularizing the notion that Trump is a modern-day King Cyrus—a vice-ridden figure who will nonetheless deliver the righteous from bondage. He appeared as a featured speaker at the 2018 Values Voter Summit, an annual conference hosted by the political arm of the Family Research Council, which has been designated as an anti-LGBTQ hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. The conference was keynoted by Vice President Mike Pence.
His election prediction notwithstanding, Wallnau’s subsequent prophesies haven’t quite panned out, and he’s been none too pleased when we’ve pointed that out.
Wallnau has also claimed that white supremacy was never a real thing in the U.S., and said that the white nationalist Unite the Right rallies were actually progressive “false flag” operations. Then there’s that “demonic” cloud of “witchcraft and curses” attacking the president.
Some sweet talk, indeed!
