Last week, Marco Rubio and Donald Trump spoke at a Florida Renewal Project event along with a variety of anti-LGBT Religious Right activists. While Trump used his speech to make absurd promises and ask for help getting into heaven, Rubio delivered a slightly different message, warning those in attendance about the dangers of discriminating against and passing judgment on gays. (This was perhaps an attempt to absolve himself for appearing with some of the most virulent anti-LGBT activists in the country.)
Rubio's message, of course, did not sit well with militant anti-gay activist Theodore Shoebat, who posted a video yesterday in which he longed for the days when traitors like Rubio would be hung from the gallows.
The Florida senator was "kissing up to the sodomite mafia," Shoebat declared, which proves that he is "a fake and an infiltrator and really just another tool for the sodomite agenda and the sodomite mafia."
Shoebat warned that Rubio has now become "an agent for the perverts," which means that Rubio is among "the most wickedest of them all because [he] will use the scripture to defend homosexuality."
"In a proper setting," Shoebat said, "in a medieval Christian setting, Marco Rubio and all the schmucks like him would be hung by the gallows."
