Ted Cruz spent most of his speech at the Values Voter Summit getting drowned out by immigration hecklers in the crowd, whom he claimed were “Obama’s paid political operatives.”
But there was no doubt he was the darling of the Religious Right, as before he even started his speech he “received the blessing” of a supporter who shouted out: “If God is for you then who can be against you?”
Cruz claimed that the Obama administration is “determined to violate every single one of our Bill of Rights,” including the 3rd amendment on the quartering of soldiers in homes. He even joked that the White House may soon try to kidnap him.
