After spending months praising Donald Trump, Ted Cruz has changed his tune on the GOP presidential frontrunner, telling David Brody of the Christian Broadcasting Network yesterday that “Donald does well with voters who have relatively low information.”
Typical Trump voters, according to the Texas senator, “are not that engaged” in politics and don’t realize that the billionaire mogul is a closet liberal who is “taking advantage” of them.
