On Saturday, radical right-wing commentator and rabid conspiracy theorist Sheila Zilinsky issued an abject apology on her podcast for ever having doubted QAnon.
Last month, Zilinsky appeared on "The Hagmann Report," where she declared that she was no longer a believer in the QAnon conspiracy theory, which posits that Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election is really a cover for a plan by President Trump to take down a massive global pedophile ring.
Zilinsky said that while she was once "really onboard with the Q thing," she was no longer convinced that it was legitimate since the long-promised wave of mass arrests never seems to actually occur.
"Let's cut the crap," she said. "Until there's some people in jail, I'm not a Q fan anymore. I'm just kind of giving up the whole thing, unless I see something happen real quick. I just really don't want to go down that rabbit trail anymore."
Despite the fact that no arrests have happened in the interim, Zilinsky's views have dramatically change as, over the weekend, she apologized for doubting Q during an interview she did with so-called "firefighter prophet" and ardent Q supporter Mark Taylor.
Zilinsky declared that she had been having a difficult time dealing with the death of her father just before Christmas and was also tired of receiving criticism about predictions that Q had made that had not come true, which prompted her attack on the QAnon movement earlier in the year.
"I would like to issue a formal apology to my listeners," she said. "I was really harsh on the Q movement because I was seeing a lot of discord and fighting and it was really upsetting me and I don't think I was ready to go back on air; I should have took a little more time off ... Bottom line, I made a mistake, so I want to really take this opportunity to apologize for my actions."
Interestingly, during an appearance Zilinsky made on the Hagmann show back in October of 2018, she not only guaranteed that the then-upcoming midterm elections would result in a "red tsunami," but also predicted that once that happened, the mass arrests Q has been promising would soon begin. She even went so far as to announce that if the arrests didn't happen by March of 2019, she would publicly "eat crow."
Zilinsky's self-imposed deadline is rapidly approaching, so she had better hope that the promised wave of mass arrests happens in the next ten days or she'll be issuing another public apology very soon.
