Scott Lively Says 'The Hand Of God' Forced A Federal Judge To Dismiss The Lawsuit Against Him

Last week, a federal judge dismissed a lawsuit filed against radical anti-LGBTQ activist Scott Lively stemming from his promotion of his extremist views in the nation of Uganda, which subsequently passed draconian anti-gay legislation. While the judge savaged Lively's "crackpot bigotry," the lawsuit was nonetheless dismissed over the matter of jurisdiction.

On Friday, Lively appeared on Janet Mefferd's radio program, where he celebrated his victory and credited God for forcing the judge to dismiss the suit.

Lively said that the entire "humiliating public spectacle" was really a "blessing" because it was all part of God's plan and eventually "God forced [the judge] to let me out of the trap."

"There are a lot of leftist judges in this country," Lively said, "especially if they're homosexual ... There are homosexual judges and far-left judges that would just simply ignore the law and would have allowed this thing to go through to trial. I don't know anything other than the hand of God."

"There was a prophecy that I received by email," he continued, "and the message was, 'It's going to get worse before it gets better, but just like Pharaoh was forced to release Moses, eventually this judge is going to let you go.' And that's exactly what happened, so I think it was the hand of God."
