This week, Fox Business Network’s Stuart Varney asked Trump-supporting pastor Robert Jeffress about the failure of the Republican effort to repeal the Affordable Care Act. Jeffress said that disappointment over the GOP health bill's failure "will dissipate" once Republican lawmakers move to defund Planned Parenthood and confirm President Trump's nominee for the Supreme Court.
Jeffress, who has called Neil Gorsuch a “supreme” choice and a “promise kept,” said Trump can “cover a multitude of sins” by giving evangelicals the kind of Supreme Court justices they’re looking for:

Listen, the reason, Stuart, that evangelicals turned out by the largest margin in history to support President Trump was because of his commitment select conservative Supreme Court justices, defund Planned Parenthood, and protect religious liberty. And as long as he delivers on those issues eventually, I think all of this disappointment over the failure to repeal Obamacare will dissipate very quickly.
It’s amazing, Stuart, how one or two conservative Supreme Court picks will cover a multitude of sins with evangelicals. And by the way, as far as Planned Parenthood, there’s more than one way to defund Planned Parenthood.
