On VCY America’s “Crosstalk” program last week, Americans For Truth About Homosexuality’s Peter LaBarbera took questions from a number of listeners about the Food and Drug Administration’s decision to loosen the longstanding ban on gay men donating blood, including one caller who speculated that the government was using the new blood donation policy to “start spreading that HIV around” and another who speculated that gay men in San Francisco looked for young boys to infect with the disease.
“This blood donation thing, you know once they start spreading that HIV around, ah, they’re looking to get rid of people, and, ah, that’s one way to do it,” the first caller told LaBarbera, before moving on to criticize the Boy Scouts for considering lifting its ban on gay troop leaders.
LaBarbera seemed to agree, saying, “Yeah, absolutely. I think in this case this is something that should be approached very carefully. This seems like an incredibly radical shift to me, does it to you Jim? I mean from, since 1977, anybody who’s engaged in homosexual conduct, any man, since 1977, or a woman who’s had sex with such a man being banned to now just one year. That’s an incredible shift.”
A second caller, responding to the possible change in Boy Scouts of America’s policy towards gay members, told LaBarbera, “In San Francisco, the homosexuals that had AIDS were looking for boys to break in to give them the disease, purposefully, because that was like their throne, their crown, to do that. In Chicago, a thing there was, they had a homosexual parade where they were wanting for more people to become homosexuals, so they could, with AIDS, with AIDS, so they could get more money from the government.”
“Look how far we’ve fallen from God,” the caller continued. “Pray for the young people because they’re being indoctrinated every day at school, in the television, on the air through the songs, in the movies, to be bisexual, homosexual, sodomites, that’s what I call it, just what the Bible called it. So pray for our youth, please!”
Jim Schneider, the host of the program, responded to this prayer with an “Amen, Amen.”
LaBarbera then added his own scary story: “The homosexual movement does have a history of adult male sex with teenage boys. As I said, there was even a slang term, which I’m gonna be writing about on my website, where they call these boys ‘chickens’ and the older men were the ‘chicken hawks’ who sought sex with these young teenage boys, I’d say just 12 to 17, 18, something like that, Jim, and so there is this history in the homosexual male role.”
