Perry Atkinson, general manager of The Dove ministry and host of the television program "Focus Today," recently interviewed right-wing activist Star Parker about the Obama administration's guidelines for public schools regarding the rights of transgender students.
Parker declared that this effort is actually a good thing because it will hopefully spur concerned parents to remove their children from public schools, which she insisted was the first step toward ultimately eliminating the Department of Education entirely.
"Keep in mind, it's not just the bathroom," she said, "it's all that we knew where it was hard enough as a 12-year-old to go to gym with each other in the same gender to now have to say that now we're going to mix little boys in there too."
"In some sense," Atkinson responded, "this is a social, educational and spiritual molestation of our children."
"That's a good way to put it," Parker agreed. "You're right, it is molestation. These kids will not even know how to blush. When you get them to the point to where nudity doesn't matter, that there's no modesty whatsoever, [then] we are in a major crisis."
