Florida talk radio host Joyce Kaufman (famous for her very brief stint as Rep. Allen West’s chief of staff), invited anti-Muslim activist Pamela Geller onto her program yesterday to discuss Donald Trump’s call to ban all Muslims from the U.S., which Geller naturally supports.
Kaufman, who later in the program would praise the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II, praised Trump for reacting “viscerally” to the terrorist shooting in San Bernardino, California, and slammed President Obama for urging Americans not to turn against their Muslim neighbors.
“Trump’s reaction was visceral, as is mine, as is yours,” Kaufman told Geller. “I shouldn’t have to be the one who reacts viscerally, I should have a commander in chief who takes the lead on issues like this. When Franklin Delano Roosevelt woke up today, December 8, in 1941, he didn’t address the American people by saying, ‘Look, don’t be mean to Japanese Americans, if you see them, invite them in for dinner.’ He said, ‘We’re going to root out all of the evil in this world, we’ll go wherever we have to and we’re going to defeat it. The American people want a leader that says that, not one that says, ‘Please, don’t be Islamophobic.’”
Geller agreed, lamenting that American young people “have been clubbed and brainwashed and rendered mentally defective in this decade of leftist inculcation in the public schools, in the culture, in the Jon Stewart-ization of the world, of America,” and that college campuses have become “hotbeds of inculcation, of anarchy, of hatred of freedom, of hatred of Jews, of hatred of America, of everything we are.”
“It’s how the Nazi youth became an enormous movement,” she said.
The two also discussed comments by Attorney General Loretta Lynch that the Justice Department would “take action” when it sees “violent rhetoric,” which she later clarified by noting that “we prosecute deeds not words.”
Geller, of course, saw this as a threat that Lynch would arrest her if someone commits a violent act after reading her Atlas Shrugs blog. “I have one thing to say,” she said, “Come and get me, biatch.”
“If the Obama administration wants to go to war against freedom, wants to arrest me for my unalienable rights guaranteed under the First Amendment, I’m going to put on my little black dress, Joyce, my string of pearls and my thigh-highs and I’m going to head on down to the jail,” she added.
Kaufman then volunteered to be Geller’s cellmate, saying that she doesn’t want America to become like Sweden, which she claimed “never had rape until they allowed an incalculable amount of Muslim immigration.”
