While Donald Trump may not be a big fan of Pamela Geller, the anti-Muslim activist and blogger praised Trump’s plan to bar Muslim immigrants from the U.S. in an interview today with Breitbart News.
After host Stephen Bannon wondered if Trump’s plan was inspired by her blog, Geller said that Trump was right to launch “a conversation” about Muslim migration.
“Obama’s negligence and jihad-denial necessitates emergency measures,” she said. “In this he’s right.”
Geller also opined on Time Magazine’s decision to name German chancellor Angela Merkel “Person of the Year,” which she said showed that the media, along with political and academic leaders, are part of a massive conspiracy to destroy Western civilization by facilitating a “Muslim invasion.”
“They named Hitler ‘Man of the Year’ too, you know,” she said. “Merkel will go down as a key figure, a single figure, in the destruction of Europe. This is one large conspiracy we’re witnessing and the media and academia and political elites are responsible for the destruction of the West. What Merkel did was unforgivable.”
She continued: “It’s the marketing of evil. It’s the marketing of destruction.”
