Yesterday, GOP congressmen Louie Gohmert and Dana Rohrabacher chatted on the “Point of View” radio program, which Gohmert was guest-hosting, about the recent House Republican conference call in which Speaker Paul Ryan said he would no longer publically defend Donald Trump and would instead focus on preserving the party’s majority in the House.
Rohrabacher expressed outrage at Republicans who wanted to “throw Trump under the bus,” saying that the party should remained committed to “saving America” by electing Trump president.
Gohmert agreed, warning that a Hillary Clinton victory may lead to his imprisonment.
“I don’t have any delusions that if we have a Republican majority the House and even if we had it in the Senate and Hillary’s elected, she changes the Supreme Court and you and I might be sharing a jail cell for the biblical basis that we have and the approach we have,” he said. “It’s going to be bad news for America. I think our religious freedom will be gone at that point.”
“That’s the first target that you’ll see. The Supreme Court, just as they’ve redefined marriage and etc.—” Rohrabacher said.
Gohmert interjected that “they’re coming after the churches.”
