Larry Klayman Wants CNN Sanctioned For Supposedly Encouraging The Assassination Of President Trump

Right-wing attorney Larry Klayman appeared on Steve Malzberg's "America Talks Live" program yesterday to discuss the complaint he has filed against CNN with the Federal Communications Commission and the Secret Service for supposedly "inciting [the] assassination of the elected President and Vice President, and the Speaker of the House" which "amounts in effect to treason against the U.S. Constitution and the peaceful transition of power."

Klayman was referring to a story that CNN ran last month about the line of succession if something were to happen during the inauguration, which several right-wing outlets painted as a call to assassinate President Trump.

"CNN is run by an individual named Jeff Zucker, it rhymes with something else obviously," Klayman told Malzberg," and he's very leftist. He's very Napoleonic in the way he runs it ... And the day before President Trump was inaugurated, a piece ran on Wolf Blitzer's show 'The Situation Room' where CNN gave a road map on how terrorists could assassinate President-elect Trump and if they got Vice President Pence and the Speaker of the House Paul Ryan at the same time, an Obama cabinet official would be able to be president. It's not funny, it was a way of telegraphing to assassinate the president of the United States."

Klayman said that he is calling for CNN to be fined and sanctioned "and I'm looking for the Secret Service to put the fear of God into them, that they can't go around thinking that they can suggest how a president of the United States should be assassinated."
