Right-wing activist Lance Wallnau posted a video on his Facebook page last night in which he discussed the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and asserted that President Trump is "the sole reason" why there have not been more terrorist attacks.
Wallnau kicked things off by declaring that he has "a great affection" for Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, apparently entirely undisturbed by the fact that there is "credible evidence" that Bin Salman was directly involved in orchestrating the brutal murder of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
Wallnau went on to assert that President Obama "went out of his way to cover up" the involvement of the Saudi government in the 9/11 attacks, which he claimed was done so that Obama could gain leverage over Saudi Arabia and force its leaders to support the international nuclear deal with Iran. (Saudi Arabia actually opposed the deal and supported Trump's decision to withdraw from it.)
"These things are all fact," he said. "Americans, in general, don't recognize that Donald Trump is the sole reason why you're not seeing greater, more impudent manifestations of terrorism. You see North Korea and sometimes Kim Jong Il, in a fit, shoots off a rocket into a parking lot somewhere in the ocean; he's not aiming at targets that are going to be antagonizing the United States; he's taunting Japan."
"Donald Trump, because of the grace of God, the spirit of God, and the prayers of the saints—so far, we have been able to hold something in tension and the world order, the global order has held and arrested, so to speak, because of the spirit of God," Wallnau added." And it is the grace of God on the United States, through Donald Trump, holding this order in check."
