In an interview yesterday with the Christian Broadcasting Network, Donald Trump’s campaign manager Kellyanne Conway defended the GOP presidential nominee from what she claimed is a biased media.
When asked how the campaign has tested her faith, Conway said that while she was encouraged by Trump’s supporters, “if my faith has been tested at all, it’s been that he’s really treated very unfairly. I think that he is persecuted in a way that is incredibly unfair and out of proportion. The media suffers from a lack of portion control when it comes to negative slop being thrown toward Donald Trump.”
“That’s unfortunate because I believe the voters deserve to have a free and open press,” she said, despite the fact that Trump has repeatedly called for restraints on a free press.
