Yesterday, disgraced former FBI agent and current anti-Islam activist John Guandolo appeared on TheDove TV's "Focus Today" program, where he declared that the people behind Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election are guilty of treason and should be executed.
Asserting that the Steele dossier was used by the FBI as justification for launching a surveillance operation against Donald Trump's presidential campaign in order to prevent him from becoming president or, in the event that he did win, to remove him from office, Guandolo declared that such actions are treasonous and those involved must be tried, convicted and put to death.
"That's criminal and everyone involved should go to jail for it," he said. "I would argue because it's part of a broader, hostile campaign by our enemies and supports a broader campaign by our enemies, it also constitutes sedition and treason and people need to be held accountable. People need to be tried, convicted and executed for treason."
"We can tie this in to the larger hostile campaign to overthrow the duly elected president of the United States," Guandolo added. "This is treason and sedition."
Guandolo said that "a massive purge" of the government must take place, since Congress, the FBI and the Department of Justice are all filled with people "who are hostile to the republic, they are hostile to the Constitution, they are conspiring to overthrow the government."
"People need to be charged, sent to jail, executed," he said, "if the republic is to survive."
