John Guandolo, the disgraced former FBI agent turned anti-Muslim speaker, was not happy with CNN’s coverage of the anniversary of the September 11 attacks, telling Virginia talk radio host Rob Schilling on Monday that the network’s coverage was dominated by “enemies of the state” and “shills for the enemy like Fareed Zakaria and others.”
“I noticed when I was kind of scanning through the channels,” he said, “I landed on CNN and listened and there they were talking about how anti-Muslim activity is up in America and Americans don’t understand Islam and we’re awesome and it’s our fault, you know, our handling of Iraq and Afghanistan has created ISIS and it was just, it was an absolute assault on the United States, quite frankly, by shills for the enemy like Fareed Zakaria and others on CNN. And these people are enemies of the state and it’s a propaganda war that we’re in.
“And it was disgusting to watch just speaker after speaker, and it was as if it was a chance for us to talk about how we need to be nicer to Islam and the Muslim community and not differentiating between the people in some cases and the fact that Islam is a totalitarian ideology.”
Guandolo also called on Americans to gain the “courage” to start “speaking the truth” about Islam, including confronting any pastor who teaches tolerance by kicking “his ass right out of church.”
“If 10 million Americans just started speaking the truth in their workplace, in their churches, when their pastors say things like, you know, ‘Everything’s okay, all behavior’s okay, Jesus said love each other and that means you tolerate all behavior,’ somebody ought to step up out of the pew, grab that guy by the ear and kick his ass right out of the church,” he said.
“Until we decide that we’re going to stand on principle and stand on truth, we’re going to continue to watch these things and this nation go down the tubes,” he added.
