Televangelist Jim Bakker claimed on his program last week that the pneumonia that caused Hillary Clinton to grow faint and leave a 9/11 memorial event in New York this month was in fact a sign from God that a “collapse” is coming and that people should buy survivalist products from his ministry.
Bakker told his studio audience that “something’s going on” to cause people to start ordering food buckets and generators from his ministry. “You know, when you move with the prophets, you know when things are happening,” he said.
He revealed that that “something” has to do with the election, and specifically with Clinton’s health episode at the 9/11 memorial.
The September 11, 2001, attacks were “probably the most stern warning God every gave to America,” he said.
Clinton, he said, collapsed on “the 15th anniversary of 9/11 and she was at 9/11, she was at and on the spot of 9/11.”
“Tell me, is God trying to tell us something?” he asked.
“There’s a collapse coming, much bigger than that collapse,” he said in answer to his own question. “That was the prophetic signal that that would be, on 9/11, at 9/11—give me the odds for that happening—where the towers came down 15 years ago to that day. It’s time to be ready.”
