Infowars Washington Bureau Chief Jerome Corsi said that he believed President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin were bonded together in a “fight to the death with the deep state,” and exchanged notes on their battle when they met privately in Helsinki earlier this week.
On today’s Infowars broadcast, Corsi joined Infowars host Owen Shroyer to praise Trump’s meeting with Putin. The two were effusive in their appreciation of Putin’s proposal that Russia be allowed to interrogate Americans—including Michael McFaul, former U.S. ambassador to the Russian Federation—in exchange for cooperating with Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s ongoing investigation into suspected Russian election meddling. Corsi said that although the United States and Russia will naturally have different “nation-state interests,” Trump and Putin had a mutual enemy in people like Mueller, who Corsi accuses of being part of the “deep state.”
“Right now it is a fight to the death with the deep state for both Putin and for Trump and when they got together in their meeting privately, I’m sure they exchanged notes and realized that they were each dealing with the same enemy,” Corsi said.
