Christian reconstructionist Herb Titus, one of the leaders of the Christian Nationalist movement, appeared on “Trunews” earlier this week to speak with host Rick Wiles about “what is at stake in the upcoming Supreme Court decision about same sex marriage.”
According to Titus, quite a bit, as he predicted that marriage equality will lead to the enslavement of Christians and even their deaths. Titus warned that soon enough, gay rights advocates will ban opponents of same-sex marriage from taking jobs as lawyers and doctors by denying them government licenses. Future lawyers and doctors, Titus and Wiles predicted, will soon have to renounce their faith just to receive their credentials.
“Christians would eventually be reduced to the social status of gypsies,” Wiles said, to which Titus replied: “We’ll become slaves.”
Titus added that the remaining Christians in the U.S. will be forced to pay a form of the Jizya, a tax relegating non-Muslims to second-class citizenship. “Very much in the Islamic tradition, you basically are fined or you’re taxed if you’re going to live, but you better keep your mouth shut because if you don’t we’ll kill you,” Titus said.
Titus also claimed that American Christians will face the same kind of state-sponsored discrimination and “reeducation” experienced by Christians under communism, warning that gay people “are already placed in very high positions” in the government.
“You see an infiltration at the highest levels of people who are either involved in the same-sex lifestyle or who are very sympathetic to it and supportive of it,” Titus said. “Plus the fact that what you see is that these people are vicious, they don’t hold back, they threaten not just with lawsuits but also with threats of force. They are very much like the Muslim juggernaut we are seeing around the world. We should not be surprised if they will use legal force along with illegal force to get there way.”
Wiles added, “We are being confronted by the ‘gaystapo.’”
