Gordon Klingenschmitt is outraged by a Massachusetts court decision finding that a Catholic school discriminated against a man when it rescinded a job offer to him after learning that he was gay and married, declaring that the lawsuit demonstrates that gay people are driven by a "demonic spirit of lust" to persecute Christians.

The Colorado Republican lawmaker said on his "Pray In Jesus Name" program yesterday that the lawsuit shows that "there is a demonic spirit here of persecution against the church" and that gay people do not simply want to be left alone but rather are intent on "coming after the church."

"They're coming after us," Klingenschmitt warned. "They don't care about the First Amendment. They don't care about the Constitution. They just want power. And this is not about sexuality any more, it's about power and that's a demonic spirit of lust; not just lust for another man, but lust for power over the Christian people who yearn to breathe free":
