Evangelist Franklin Graham, who is currently traveling the country with his supposedly nonpartisan “Decision America” tour, appears to be fixated on the purported dangers of LGBT rights, warning that the movement is destroying everything from the church to marriage to the Girl Scouts.
Continuing that trend, the conservative preacher took to his Facebook page today to criticize reports that President Obama is planning to erect the first national monument to the gay rights movement near the site of the Stonewall protests in New York City, calling the planned monument “a monument to sin.”
“I can’t believe how far our country has digressed,” he wrote. “I hope that the president will reconsider. Flaunting sin is a dangerous move.”
